INTRODUCING the NEW Online Registration Instruction Manual (click link to review & print).  Please read this document completely before registering.  This document will help guide you through the online registration process and should answer most of the questions that you will have while registering.

Notes:

• Please remember your Userid and Password when you create your OYTF Account.  This will be a permanent Account that you will be able to use for registrations in the future, and take advantages of other features on the Website - which will be released later this year.
• Make sure to keep your Account up to date with your most recent contact information, so OYTF can keep in touch with you.
• Please watch for Upcoming Registration Events by visiting this site periodically.
• "WAITLIST" Status - please be aware that all Registrants will be placed into a status of "WAITLIST" whether they are returning to the program or not.  Upon the completion of your Registration, you will receive an email indicating your application has been received by OYTF.  Registrants who have a Returning Status will be identified and then processed.  Please allow 1 to 2 weeks for your application to be processed and for an email to be sent to you asking for you to make payment by accessing your Account.  Registrants who are NEW to OYTF will be notified by email upon being selected in the Lottery.

Rules for Registration

• Participants from the previous year are guaranteed a position if they sign up at the pre-registration which is at the beginning of February of the following year
• Siblings of existing participants are given the chance to sign-up at the second registration date filling remaining positions
• Open registration is held for any remaining positions using a Lottery System and NOT first come first serve placement on a team
• Must reside within Oswego School District 308
• Must be between the ages of 6 and 14 years old (cutoff date August 31st of current season)
• Must provide copy of Birth Certificate for each Participant (at Orientation)
• Must provide recent picture of each Participant (at Orientation)
• Request for specific Team Color will NOT be honored
• NO try-outs are held for Football or Cheer
• NO experience necessary to participate
• For Cheerleaders the following guidelines apply for eligibility for a Given Level (reflects entering Grade Level for Fall):
  • Superlight: (1st and 2nd Grades)
  • Lightweight: (3rd and 4th Grades)
  • Junior Varsity: (5th and 6th Grades)
  • Varsity: (7th and 8th Grades)
