Practice Information
Practice for the 2007 Season begins the first calendar week of August. Sessions will run from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  After the first game of the season is played, the Monday practice is eliminated.  When school begins, the Friday practice will be eliminated as well.  Football players are required to have seven (7) practice days before they can be allowed to participate in a game.

All practices will take place at the fields located at Grande Park in Plainfield, located between 127th and 135th Streets under the water tower.

PARKING, PICKUP, AND DROP OFF IS PROHIBITED ON STEWART ROAD AT THE REQUEST OF THE PLAINFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT.  Please have your athlete arrive at practice with enough time to be ready to start at 5:30 p.m.  Please take caution while driving to drop-off and pick-up your child.  Car pooling to practice is strongly encouraged.  Parents are always welcome to stay and watch.  Please help us in keeping our practice grounds clean by throwing away all trash – even if it is not your own!
Practices are held no matter what the weather conditions may be unless you are called ahead of time by your coach or calling mom or commissioner.  If the weather conditions become threatening after practice has started, such as lightening or strong winds, please return to pick-up your child as soon as possible.  Cancellation of practices will be the decision of the commissioners.  Head coaches are expected to remain with their team until all individuals have been picked up.

Game Day Information
Most game days are on Saturday or Sunday. Home games will be played at the Oswego High School Football Stadium on the practice field.  Directions for all away games will be in our weekly newsletter as well as any schedule changes.  Please also check this Website for changes and general information.  Coaches will notify players for starting times regarding their particular level.  Each participant must have at least one (1) parent/legal guardian in attendance at all home and away games for participation eligibility.  Parent/Guardian must sign in with Commissioner or designated official by the start of their child’s game or participant will not be allowed to participate until signature is obtained.

Occasionally on game days, we will have a delay due to inclement weather.  When this occurs, parents must take their children to their car and wait for a decision to resume play, cancel or reschedule.
